Primitive/Make-do Photo/Negative Transfer Light Box Circa 1925-1945

This one of a kind object gives the middle finger to digital photography. The box is crudely but solidly constructed of pine. There is a hinged lid that covers a 4x5 plate of opaque glass. On the front is a bakelite plastic push button trigger/switch that activates two 40 watt/120v incandescent GE "Mazda" brand light bulbs. The light bulbs stay on for as long as the trigger is depressed. When the box is plugged in, the small red safelight bulb turns on automatically. All three light bulbs function, and are 1945 or older ( GE discontinued the Mazda bulb in 1945).
